How I waist so much time

It is so easy to look back over the day or the week and realise that so much of what I have done was a waist of time. The Bible says that our lives are as a vapor

Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit.” Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. Instead, you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and also do this or that.” But as it is, you boast in your arrogance; all such boasting is evil. Therefore, to one who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, to him it is sin. James 4:13 -17

If I am to one day give account for everything I had in life then that also means I will have to give an account to God for my time. So much waisted time seeking my own pleasure rather that Him and His Word. God help me to redeem back all the years that accounted for nothing Amen

So this is Christmas

So the Christmas time of the year is hear again and I am broke. The automotive sales business is no place to be for someone who is trying to provide fro his family. Thank God for His provision and for my family who helped smooth the rough ground.

I have been studying about the pagan roots of Christmas and I an wondering if it is pleasing to God to celebrate a day unto Him that is not Biblical. I only hold back because of family and friends. How we love to hang onto our traditions. Was that not why Yeshua criticized the Pharisees because they made void Gods commandments because of their traditions. Maybe we are guilty of doing the same. I will have to think on this more...
